Many grandparents, relatives and family friends bring up other people’s children, helping the family stay together. If you are one of these kinship carers playing this vital role in our community, we are here to help youRead all about us!
Kinship care is where a child or young person lives full-time with a relative or family friend because they are not able to live with their birth parents. Thousands of people care for children because their birth parents are unable to do so.
Kinship carers are important members of our community and are dedicated to providing a safe home for many children and young people who may otherwise be in local authority care.
Kinship Carers Liverpool offers a number of different services for carers from all walks of life. From someone to talk, to help and advice, direction to helpful and relevant services, links to other kinship families, all the way through to our free activities programme for kin families.

As a registered charity, we are reliant on donations and awareness raising events to keep on offering support to out kinship kids and kinship carers. We run many awareness events every year but we are still reliant on donations to keep things going and maintain the level of support that our kinship families need.
Please read about how you can help and how to make a much needed donation - every single penny helps.
