What is Kinship Care?

Kinship care is where a child or young person lives full-time with a relative or family friend because they are not able to live with their birth parents. Thousands of people care for children because their birth parents are unable to do so.

Kinship carers are important members of our community and are dedicated to providing a safe home for many children and young people who may otherwise be in local authority care.

Help us to help others

As a registered charity, we are reliant on donations and awareness raising events to keep on offering support to out kinship kids and kinship carers. We run many awareness events every year but we are still reliant on donations to keep things going and maintain the level of support that our kinship families need.

Please read about how you can help and how to make a much needed donation - every single penny helps.
