- Information & Resources
We can provide one to one information, advice and support over the phone, or face to face. We can signpost you to a range of support services such as legal advice, benefits/debt advice, and help you navigate through the complex range of issues you may be trying to cope with on a daily basis. We can guide you through the maze of services out there – whether you are a new kinship carer or been looking after a kin child for years. We also hold regular get-togethers – just get in touch with the team to find out more – 0151 270 2108.
Come along & have a coffee & a chat. We hold a coffee morning every Wednesday morning in term times.
Make some time for yourself! We hold free pamper session first Friday of every month to help you reduce your stress levels so you can better cope with your busy family life.
We really recognise the value of peer support between our kin carers and so we have piloted and developed a peer support training course for carers. You can learn how to support other kin carers in a focused and safe way – understanding ways of supporting others. Contact us if you want to get involved with this.
