National Kinship Carers Awarness Week

in 2016 National Kinship Carers week was established by our project

Aim: to raise awareness of what Kinship Care is and to celebrate Kinship families.

This has gone from strength to strength, each year is bigger and people, organisations, government are all becoming more aware of Kinship Carers everywhere.  This is what we aimed for, to get our families recognised and and treated the same as other carers, who are not Kinship.

Long may it continue until are families are fully recognised for their tireless, selfless commitments they make bringing up children in a healthy, happy, loving environement.  This all needs financial, educational, mental health wellbeing support for carers and kin-kids.
